GB12 Extruded Geogrid
Gb12 biaxial extruded geogrid is utilized in base reinforcement and soil containment by interlocking with the aggregate below and above the geogrid. This added reinforcement allows the consumer to decrease the amount of aggregate used in a driveway, parking lot, highway, or other projects. If the same amount of aggregate is utilized, the lifespan of the build will be extended drastically. All of our extruded geogrids are made from a mix of polypropylene pellets which are extruded and punched into the grid shape, with a small amount of carbon black added in for UV protection. GB12 extruded biaxial geogrid has a higher tensile strength than the GB11 and GB1515 geogrids that makes it suited to heavier highway construction, and projects with heavier loads.
