Woven fabrics include a wide array of fabrics and can be made of either polypropylene yarns or polyester yarns or in some cases a mixture of the two. Generally polypropylene is used in lower strength applications. Slit film polypropylene yarns are utilized to make separation fabric that has a relatively low water flow rate and provides superior reinforcement when compared to a similar weight nonwoven polypropylene fabric. Higher strength woven fabrics can be used in slope reinforcement including reinforcing critical applications such as levies.
