The corner closure tool is designed specifically to speed the gabion installation process. When adjoining adjacent gabion baskets the corner selvedge wires are often times positioned so that properly confining these required vertical wires is tedious.

Each jaw is designed at a specific angle to insure the corner wires of each gabion basket are brought together when the handles are pressed inward. Once the handles are brought together they may be locked into position by using the serrated locking device located on the handle of the corner closure.

This labor saving aid is designed to insure a speedy, profitable gabion project.

These are built to last and come in handy.

I know what you're thinking, $150 down the drain. These are quality tools and its hard to keep the baskets looking professional without them as they are narrow so you can crimp c-rings very close to them and are built to last.

That said their lack of deburring is a little ding as they are $150... and coating them in something hi-viz would be very helpful. These are why it got four stars.
